Where can I get a cable and dongle?

We support the same cables and dongles as ScanMyTesla but you can buy a set from our ebay shop.
The cables have an OBD2 connector on one end which accepts the bluetooth dongle, you connect the white connector to the car under the main large center screen.
For the Model S (pre August 2015) you will need a 12 pin cable.
For the Model S (after 2015) you will need a 20 pin cable.
Note: it's worth checking which cable you need before ordering, the MCU2 update doesn't update the cable required.

It didn't work, how do I get my money back?

We log all commands so can see exactly what the car returned. If something did go wrong and credit was used then please contact us with the command you tried and the date & time you tried it. We can check the logs and happily issue a refund if required. Please ensure you are running the correct command to clear you code.

I have an alert that isn't listed in the app?

Please contact us for any BMS alerts you have which aren't covered by the app, we can remotely update the command list and can run new commands for free to test if possible.

Can I clear BMS_u018_SOC_Imbalance_Limiting?

BMS_u018 can not be cleared as it is an alert set by live data. This means the imbalance of cells (the difference between the lowest voltage cell and the highest voltage cell) has exceeded the acceptable threshold, Unofficial sources say the threshold is 20%. This alert will clear if/when the cells balance back into the accepatble range. We have personally seen this from using a supercharger on the occasional long journey when the car is usually used very little. The alert was cleared arter charging the car with a granny charger on the slowest setting for 3 days (even leaving when the Tesla app claimed charging complete).

Can I clear BMS_u029?

You can clear this alert at your own risk, with the understanding there has been a report of a battery fire after clearing this code. We would recommend fixing the underlying issue before clearing the code, you may need to clear the code in order to identify the defective module, in that case you should charge very slowly and carefully, keeping an eye on the battery vitals as you do. From our experience, we have seen a perfectly healthy looking battery have this code triggered, clearing the code and using for 6 months without trouble. Also , we wouldn't risk a plug in device that constantly clears the code and have the car charging in a garage.
